OUR MISSION
The Male Bag Foundation Ltd is firmly focused on men’s health.
Our annual fundraising rides on ex-Australia Post Honda motorcycles raise community awareness of prostate cancer. Funds raised through rider sponsorship and corporate donations allow us to partner with rural public hospitals to provide safe, accurate, targeted prostate biopsies in rural areas where they are most needed.
Prostate cancer is a most insidious disease. 20,000 men are diagnosed annually, and around 3,300 lives are lost every year.
As a recognised not-for-profit charity, all donations to The Male Bag Foundation are tax deductible. If you can’t sign up to join our ride, please consider making a donation.
EVENT
On Friday, September 27, 2024, get around the bay in a day on a postie bike to raise funds for The Male Bag Foundation.
Beginning in Melbourne, the ride will take participants through Portsea, Queenscliff, and Geelong before finishing in Melbourne once more.
The $100 entry fee will cover your ferry ride from Portsea to Queenscliff, a delicious lunch, and a commemorative event hat. Additionally, those who need it can hire a bike for the day for $100. Participants will be responsible for picking up and returning hired bikes.
The Male Bag Ride 2024 is an excellent opportunity to meet like-minded riders and go on an adventure around the bay, all for a good cause. Our iconic annual postie bike rides have helped the foundation raise funds for special events, prostate equipment, and services to support the detection, treatment, and recovery of prostate cancer.
My Story
Diagnosed in November 2021 with metastic prostate cancer, I underwent 45 sessions of radiation in early 2022. Now it is undetectable in 2024.
I am joining this adventure to raise awareness of prostate cancer and help patients and their families by supporting regional areas with funds that assist with the purchase of new equipment in rural public hospitals.

This equipment can help to provide safe, accurate, targeted prostate biopsies in rural areas where they are most needed and save men the hassle of journeying into big cities for a Prostate Biopsy.
