About

OUR MISSION

The Male Bag Foundation Ltd is firmly focused on men’s health.

Our annual fundraising rides on ex-Australia Post Honda motorcycles raise community awareness of prostate cancer. Funds raised through rider sponsorship and corporate donations allow us to partner with rural public hospitals to provide safe, accurate, targeted prostate biopsies in rural areas where they are most needed.

Prostate cancer is a most insidious disease. 20,000 men are diagnosed annually, and around 3,300 lives are lost every year.

As a recognised not-for-profit charity, all donations to The Male Bag Foundation are tax deductible. If you can’t sign up to join our ride, please consider making a donation.

My Story

I am joining this adventure to raise awareness of prostate cancer and help patients and their families by supporting regional areas with funds that assist with the purchase of new equipment in rural public hospitals.

This equipment can help to provide safe, accurate, targeted prostate biopsies in rural areas where they are most needed and save men the hassle of journeying into big cities for a Prostate Biopsy.

Please consider donating, as every little bit helps!

Journey
15/10/26 4:35pm

Our mission for this latest ride is to provide additional days for prostate cancer nurses for the Echuca and Bairnsdale hospitals.

We have committed to approximately $30,000 annually per nurse for three years.

Thus each hospital will benefit by around $100,000 each.

I am proud to be helping men from Echuca particularly, due to my family connections

Hi aunty Marg Thank you for your generous donation. It has helped me achieve my funding target of $1,500 We have now raised more than 35 thousand dollars this event. This will enable us to fund an additional day per week for the prostate cancer nurse now working at the Echuca hospital. We have committed to continue this funding for at least another two years. You may have noticed that our donation goal on the web site does not tally with this figure but many of the donations have come directly to the foundation and not through the supporter hub page so they are not displayed there. The ride today was about 400 Km and very arduous through continuous rain in freezing conditions and strong winds. Our oldest rider is 84. Thank you again for your contribution Gary
